Game Keeps Minimizing! Help!

Alright so this started a few days ago. Every time i open my game, it minimizes. I can hear the sound playing in the backround so i dosnt crash. It just minimizes. And every time i try to bring it back up from my task bar, it just minimizes again. I have no idea whats going :c im using windows 8 if that helps at all.

There is probably a program running with a notification that pops up. That will minimize the game. So, if you figure out which one it is and close it... that should help.

Look in the lower right by the clock.

I really dislike Windows 8, it seems they moved everything into a hidden mode so you it's no longer intuitive. Why?

I have tried running rocksmith with nothing else running and it still doesnt fix it. When it minimizes, nothing else pops up. Thank you anyway thought :) Is there a rocksmith number i can call or something?

did you modify RS resolution or anything like that? I think if it can't display the resolution it will minimize.

It may not necessarily be obvious which process is stealing focus. It's not necessarily going to be an app in user space, nor will the culprit necessarily make it's presence known (like...oh, viruses. they don't want to be found).
