Supports finite audio interfaces
This can not be that in the 21st century you still rely on your cables

Almost everyone has a problem with the audio software

No we don't.

You have two options to play the game without the Real Tone Cable. Either run your preferred interface as a mic input and forfeit custom tones or run in unplugged mode and just don't worry about note detection.

I find it interesting that this group would be so anti-cable.. When we get an amp, we buy a cable. Get a new peddle? We buy a cable. In-line tuner? Buy a cable. We buy long cables, short cables, A/B switches to add another cable. Gold plated cables, Different color cables. Cables with Right Angle plugs, and Straight Plugs. Adapters to connect cables to cables or to split cables to two cables... Guitar Center has 309 different cables available just for guitar because we like cables.

Buy a Mic? Buy a special Mic cable. We don't complain "I won't buy that Mic until it can use the Guitar Cable." or "I won't buy that MIDI device until it can use a Mic cable"... Do we?

Most of those cables are around $20-$30... And so is the Rocksmith Realtone Cable - $35. Not a bad deal for unlimited hours of education on how to play a guitar. For a software that works great for almost everyone.

It's the 21st century, and everybody I know has at least 1 shoebox/plastic box/drawer of cables... Power cables, headset cables, A/V cables, game controler cables... etc.

Those are options. But a number of the software features outside Learn A Song require the Realtone cable.

Fun facts: I still have my first ever guitar cable purchased back in 1987. I'm also still using my original RS cable that came with the original RS for Xbox 360.

Hazy generalization. You are saying this to try to give your complaint more weight, but you have no proof to back this up at all. It's anecdotal only, but my own experience pretty much tells me you are wrong. In my own experience far less people have issues with the cable than do.

Please change something finally

Please have a clue before you open your yap again.

What kind of problem are you having with the audio software? Whatever it is, it has nothing to do with the cable. They force you into their cable because they don't want the support headache of trying to fix problems with everyones "superior" audio interface. I still think they should have a DLC unlock that allows other interfaces without any guarantee or support. But they don;t.

That problem is, that my System is 44.1kHz (on my Audio Interface) when i start that game, sounds crackling...

When i swich to 48kHz that Cracking is gone, and that Game say " There is no Audiodriver for this" Popup.

When i change in my System on Incoming and outgoing Audio on 48khZ it works

but all other audio "Youtube, or Players for music" stop working...

This Game is a Nazi ^^

The solution to your problem is to buy the Realtone cable, and to use the Realtone cable.
oo7_Kurt Oct 17, 2017 @ 4:56am
i have twice realToneCable but that problem is,i must deactivete my Soundstudio for ONE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CABLE ! because they wont working parallel. That Game cant find that cable when that cable is in same time with AudioInterface. understand now?

Yes, I understand that the initial question was incorrect., The question should be.. how can you get the RealTone cable working without disconnecting the Audio Interface?

And the answer to that is to set the RealTone cable as the primary input, which should get RS to see the Realtone cable... There are others that use an Audio Interface as an output only for sound.

Of course that depends on the audio interface, and the driver around it... If the Audio Interface and drivers are poorly designed and won't allow another audio input to be primary.... Then you may have to disconnect it still. But, that shouldn't be too much work to disconnect 1 USB device and plug in 1 USB device.

So it still wants the RT cable as the default recofding device? Well at least he is getting an answer.

My best guess, based off of thier last post that seems to be the most likely issue.

Other options could be a conflict with the Audio Interface... Or could be too many devices attached to the computer that they disconnect with the Audio Interface, which they then blame on the cable... It is hard to help when they don't start off with what the actual problem is, but instead try to focus on something that they know is not supported.

Thanks, its good to see you and be back. I've been really sick and still fighting. So if you are a religous man, say a prayer for me. If not, then just some good thoughts.

I haven't played in a few months, but am planning to get playing again.
