Games for Linux and the Holiday Sale.
There are quite a few games that I'd like to get, particularly while they are on sale. (well duh!)

However, I want to concentrate on Linux games as:

a) I'd prefer to do my gaming here,
b) Support the games that are ported.

Are we going to get sales/discounts on games that get ported *after* the sale for the windows versions are done?

I don't want to spend more on windows versions. (and of course, I'm not gonna pay twice)
Budget t'ain't all that big. Looking at mabe a couple hundred bucks worth. (this depends on how much I decide to spend on upgrading my vid card. SLI or not SLI... um...

A list of whats coming would be nice. Same for a way to say "I'm buying this windows version, but only because there's a version for linux coming and I'm too impatient to wait" kinda thing.

Totally agreed. I bought Left4Dead2 about a month back when it was on sale in anticipation, as well as Portal 2 and then today Half-Life 2 because I'm *hoping* Linux versions will be released. I also bought a bunch of games that have Linux ports, though some of them haven't been uploaded to Steam yet (including Humble Indie Bundle 7).

Well, I would expect anything that is also available through Desura which has Linux version over there would likely get one put on Steam.
