Steam for Linux

Feature Request: Zoom in pages!
Perhaps this functionality exists and i cant find it but:
How about zoomable GUI content? As far as i can see steam client is in a large part just a browser! But its a pain to use with different screens of differenent sizes.
I do really wish i could i.e. zoom in this forum making the font bigger and everything better readable from bigger screens with high resolution.
A typical way doing this would be Ctrl+MouseWheel and/or Ctrl / +-

Better: make it an option, so it gets remembered. I'm currently running the client on a 1080p TV, located 3m from the couch. I have to lean forward all the way to make the content readable (with effort); if I want to be able to read it comfortably, I need to get up and move halfway to the TV.

It also mismatches the fonts in use on the rest of the system; perhaps a better solution is to support the "big" desktop environments (gnome, kde, unity, mate, cinnamon) and use their settings for colour theme and fonts & their sizes.
i want to second this request.

also the big picture mode should have an option to configure the dpi of the fonts used and also the gui ingame, especially the steam gui ingame should support DPI settings to (and/or read the system settings).

it is quite pointless to have a big picture mode for tvs but without font and dpi settings that are a must have for tvs, being unreadable.
