[REQUEST] Filter by my progress through a game
Thanks to HiB my Steam games list is way longer than it needs to be. I find it overwhelming.

What I'd like is if Steam knew my progress in a game. It doesn't need to be super granular - just sorting games into "Complete", "Played", and "Never played" statuses would help me. It'd be great if that happened automatically (not that multiplayer games could ever really be complete) but I'd even be happy if I had to manage this myself.

Thanks!

I think it is a nice idea but you need to clarify what would make a game complete (All achievements acquired?). Personally, I manage this my self by setting a category to my games (complete, ongoing,...).

Chichi, to be honest I don't know what that would mean either. Basically I just want to mark the game as done so that I don't have to see it when looking for games I haven't played yet. Because people have different ideas of done-ness, I think manually managing them myself is fine.

What is this category setting you speak of?

When you are on the library window in the steam client, you can click right on any game and you'll find in the short menu "set category". You can create categories (complete,...). Then the games will be listed in each category. The first one is always the favorites but afterwards, they are listed by alphabetical order.

Holy crap, that's perfect. This is the quickest I've ever seen a feature request implemented. Thanks for the tip!
