Steam for Linux

Gallery view for my Steam Library
One of the only things I miss about buying boxed copies of the games I play is the ability to see them all lined up on a shelf. A collection as beloved as my books. I think that having a sort-able view of my steam library where each title has an icon of a box cover style art would be really cool. Think Itunes in "Cover view". Exploring the idea further leads me to having an option to show missing titles in a game series that has sequels. You could even tie in steam trading cards or somesuch as an incentive to fill in the missing pieces of the collection. Mainly though, Big color covers of my games. I used to look for an oldie to play that way.

Thank you for your time

There are people creating their own game library application:

Perhaps they are interested in your ideas?

Very cool software, though I'm interested in having it as a feature in Steam on Windows OS.

This is not really a linux related feature, so I suggest you post it in the general suggestion forum. The reason simple: There are approx 5 people here and no staff, while thousands in the other section with Valve occasionally taking a look.

Oy. My bad. I ended up here by googling "steam feature suggestions." I will post in the proper forum. It was the first result.
