Why was the video RAM issue thread removed?
Not even locked, just straight-up erased. Is some white-night mod trying to remove evidence of bugs in the Steam client, or did the OP figure out a fix, figure the thread wasn't needed anymore and decide to do some housekeeping? There was a useful link in there that I wanted to click after I had rebooted into Linux and gotten at my system info.

I think they removed that thread because it was so old, but the issue is still with AMD graphics cards.
That link was http://www.amd.com/us/LinuxCrewSurvey I already made feedback, but i think that issue needs to fix in steam, not in drivers.

So threads are auto-culled based not on when they were last posed to, but when they were created? There's a pretty serious flaw in that logic.

That would be just too stupid, but it cannot be true, see e.g.

Has been around since december, original posting not touched since last year, over half a year of no new posting at all...
