You need to provide more info: what distribution? what drivers? what is the console output?
For info, it runs fine here on Arch64 / KDE / ATI drivers.
I will certainly provide console output if anyone says me how to do it. :) Distribution and drivers, as you can see, are already written above. I can also notice that I have also tried to start this game with custom startup command:
optirun %command%
Ok, here's what you do:
1. open terminal
2. type steam
3. launch game from steam
4. see if any error gets reported in the terminal when the game fails to launch.
If you get something like "X is missing" try to search for X in the package manager and check if it can be installed.
Great, thank you. I got this (few words on Russian, I can try to translate if it is needed):
ExecSteamURL: "steam://rungameid/203210" Failed to load installscript /home/faber/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Titan Attacks/installscript.vdf Game update: AppID 203210 "Titan Attacks", ProcID 2997, IP 0.0.0.0:0 ERROR: ld.so: object 'gameoverlayrenderer.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored. OK, I just checked and I have similar output (even the "failed to load... part and the .sh error), even though I can launch and play the game just fine. Maybe it's a graphics driver issue...?

Anyway to get the best support I would encourage you to post your issue at the Titan Attacks hub forum at http://steamcommunity.com/app/203210/discussions/
Puppygame devs are very active there, and provide great support. They're also very nice. They'll help you better than I can.
Your link was extremely helpful. :) The problem was in 64-bit OS. I just had to install additional libs:
sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
