Waking Mars
I was going through my Humble Bundle Steam keys, and added Waking Mars.
It appears to know it is a Linux game, and adds itself to the Linux category in my games list. But the 'download' of the game only takes a split second before it thinks its 'Ready to Play'.
When i try to launch it, the game says 'Failed to start game (invalid app config).' Does anyone else get this?

There was a similar problem with FTL before it was released. Theory then was that the game was in closed beta or in the process of being launched and the data files weren't there yet (or perhaps were only there for some whitelisted people. I'd guess this is a sign that steam will get the linux version, but its not done yet.

There are LOTS of games like this. Take a look at my library, plenty in the "Linux" section (and games that SHOULD be in the "Linux" section), but the developers haven't uploaded the Linux binaries yet. Best way to solve the problem, email them and "encourage" them to let you play the game that you paid for.
