GitHub: Killing Floor not saving profile progress
My player upgrades only during a match, but after the match ends all progress is lost. One time the commando character leveled up during the match, but even so, after the match, it went back to the previous level

There is a known issue with whitelisted mutators and saving perks not working together on the linux client. XP is lost on map change.
Ok, thanks for the feedback. Hope they will fix it soon.
Has this been fixed yet? I get the same issues. I keep upgrading the Commando class every time I play it and each new game then I'm back to the previous level.

Yep, same problem here :( Pretty annoying
I noticed it will depend on the server you're playing on. There's one server where I play sometimes, which has a custom mod installed where you see what you killed in the top left of the screen. Here my progress isn't saved, maybe due to this/other mod(s), or just coincidence.

Same here, it seems random, and it strongly discourages from playing again.

Any workaround would be welcome... clearing the game cache in steam client doesn't seem to help.
From my already existing experience its hit and miss if you get your score. From what I've noticed if you leave the server just before the server changes level then it saves your level. I'm not 100% sure though.
Thanks for the tip, I've been religiously quiting before changing level, played about 4 maps and so far it has been saving progress.

I was hoping this would have been fixed this summer with the event/sales, but the issue remains unfortunately.
It's a very annoying bug, and it seems Tripwire is giving a ♥♥♥♥ about it. Thats very sad. My workaround at the moment is to run Steam (Windows Version) on top of Wine 1.5, with help of PlayOnLinux. Although it runs pretty smoothly on Wine, I want to play the Linux version natively as all of my other games.
