Issue Report: Lazy copy&paste not working

With lazy copy&paste I mean simply marking text to copy, then simply use the middle mouse button to paste. This works everywhere except in steam (tried to paste product keys that way but always had to Ctrl + C / Crtl + V).

Lazy copy&paste is very usefull in Linux, especially for humble bundle activation key :). Waiting for it too

I have this issue too. +1
Sometimes if you right-click on the access code authorization input box, the context menu for cut/cop/paste does not disappear if you click in the input box, as one would expect.

Same issue but with ctrl+c/ctrl+v not working aswell, have to use right click menus :/

+1, ctrl-c ctrl-v is simply deprecated on linux.

Calling it lazy is a bit unfair. It is actually the native copy paste action for the X11 Window System (not linux related). The other method has to be implemented by the DE/WM/widget/app.. I don't know why steam bypasses it.
