Steam games missing textures
So very recently i have switched from windows to linux mint (cinamon) and everything seem to be working fine except for steam games. The only 2 games i have on steam right now are left for dead 2 and cs:go and with both of these games everything is black and silver ish (in game)

Is their anyone who knows why this is happening or how i can fix this?:cherries:

What video card/chip and video drivers are you using. Nvidia seems to work best for Steam. Intel graphics can be slow and some people have had issues at times with AMD/ATI video (maybe depending upon driver and version).

I was running 64-bit Ubuntu 12.04 with GTX 550 Ti and recently switched to 64-bit Ubuntu 14.04 with GTX 750 Ti. Other than having issues figuring which newer nvidia driver version I needed for the new card to get graphics working in general, I have not had issues with Steam.
