[Dota 2] Borderless Window Problems
Hello, I'm trying to run Dota 2 in borderless windowed mode, but am coming across a slight problem. Ubuntu's menu bar (the one at the top) takes up some of the space at the top, meaning that the bottom of the game is not displayed. Is there a way to force the game to take up the whole screen, or else a way to hide the menu bar? I'm running Ubuntu 14.04.

If not, any recommendations for a distro that will support borderless windows? It's very important to me.

Thanks!

Since I run all the games I can in borderless window mode, I had the same problem as you, but with KDE. My solution was to set the bar to auto-hide after a while. I don't know if this is an option with your desktop.

However, running in borderless window caused other problems for me, including the occasional frame skipping. Eventually, I went back to fullscreen. I can still alt-tab in and out at the same speed as if it was running in borderless mode(Unless I'm on a loading screen).
