Ubuntu 15.4 -> 15.10 update. Now Big Picture mode doesn't work. Appears to be graphics issue

I start Steam. Click the Big Picture Mode button. Screen becomes either pure white, pure black, or black with a white box. Using Steam Controller I can navigate around and hear that it's functioning - just not showing up on screen. Worked fine in 15.4.

Any ideas?
