Issue Report: Cannot set screen resolution
Team Fortress 2 always starts in my screen's native resolution (1680x1050).

If I try to change the resultion ingame, this has no effect, only if I switch to window mode.

Same problem here, plus if i'm in window mode the game crashes if I change the resolution

I think this is a bug with NVIDIA 310 drivers. I saw another related issue in here.

I checked back to mid-November before I gave up.

Edit: I have the same issues, one of the previously mentioned fixes that works is to change my global desktop resolution and then launch TF2. Not a great fix, but it works. By the way, impressive Valve, TF2 runs just as well under Linux as it does under Windows (okay, disregarding the resolution issue). I have gained a lot of respect for your engineers.
