Issue Report: UDS Attendees can't play/install TF2 (non-beta version)
So, I got a Steam Linux Beta key yesterday by attending to Ubuntu Developer Summit. However, I were suprised to find out I am only able to install the beta version of TF2, which barely has any players at all.

I believe this is caused by the "Steam Linux UDS Beta" sub in the Steam CDR only having Portal and TF2. Whereas the "Steam Linux Beta" has TF2 (non beta) as well as the beta version of TF2.

Here's the Steam Linux UDS Beta sub:

and the normal Steam Linux Beta sub:

Same here
I also have this issue.
Sorry guys, should be fixed now.
Yep fixed
@christen We also can't install Serious Sam 3, while other beta testers can. At least I can't.

But the TF2 bug was gone away :)
SS3 works fine.
Not here. I'm guessing I'm the only one that doesn't have it?
Did you buy it?
@Horst No, but that is what I'm talking about. Some of my friends got it for free on this beta, and I did not. So I'm wondering if this is a bug, like TF2 one, or not.

If someone from Valve could answer this, I would apreciate it. If it's not a bug, I will just go buy it.
There are two betas - Steam Linux Beta and Steam Linux UDS Beta. The UDS beta is the one most people are part of, and it contains ONLY TF2 and Portal. The non-UDS beta has several titles including Serious Sam 3.

Basically if your invite mail came from an address, you don't get Serious Sam 3.
