Issue Report: Steam Cloud unable to sync (S.P.A.Z., SpaceChem)
Whenever I launch Space Pirates and Zombies from Linux I get the message "Steam was unable to sync your files for Space Pirates and Zombies with the Steam Cloud".

I have seen this happen in Windows with COD: Modern Warfare 3 , what fixes it for me is closing steam and reopening steam and then trying again and it does not happen anymore for awhile.

When I launch S.P.A.Z in Steam Linux I do not have this problem.

Strange, closing and restarting Steam does not help in my case. I still get the same message.

To be sure I reinstalled S.P.A.Z. The first time it started without error message, the second time I got the same message again.

I have this exact same problem now with Dynamite Jack on steam linux.

Every time I try to launch the game it says it can not sync with steam cloud.


other games work fine for me.

I have the same problem with SpaceChem. Closing and restarting Steam doesn't help.

Yes, it still happens with the latest client, at least for SpaceChem (just checked). I wasn't in the beta before last wednesday, so I don't know if it worked before then.

Game 107200 = S.P.A.Z FYI. Is the cloud sync being done by the game itself or purely by the Steam client?

I have the same problem, right after downloading the game. I installed steam yesterday, so it should be "clean". Verifying the data didn't help.

Please Bowzer, update the title to mention that this bug affects SpaceChem too.
I suppose it's the same bug, have you tried running steam from the terminal to see if you get that
