Issue Report: Multiple issues on i18n(Chinese) support
All Chinese characters are displayed as boxes on my friends list, but they look just fine on the profile page. This goes even worse if I change the language settings of steam to Chinese. In that case, all text (except those on the webpages: store page, profile page...) are displayed as boxes. (I have Chinese fonts installed and other apps on my system just work fine)

My input method (fcitx) does not work on Steam Linux beta at all. Btw, most Chinese input methods do not work well on Steam on Windows either (on English version of Windows).

Thanks for the info.

Me too. I have exactly the same problem as the original post, and it looks exactly the same as when Wine is not correctly configured for CJK support.

I wonder if CJK support is considered as a part of Beta?
