Help us translate Steam

Calling Settings spawns a window and aborts on the same backtrace (not being able to draw anything on the window). Other threads are mostly in some kind of wait state, either WaitForEvent or pthread_cond_timedwait
I'm looking into this particular problem and it's just not reproducing for me. I need to get a some more pieces of information from you:
1/ What version of Linux are you running?
2/ What is your system locale? (i.e. just run locale and paste in the output from that here)
3/ Can you also give me the md5sum of your steamclient.so file? (md5sum ~/.steam/bin/steamclient.so)
Thanks!
I've just reproduced it - set again to German, it asked to restart, restarted, I've clicked to the Library (Bibliothek) and bam!
Although after crash i started it again and it decided to update the client. But even after update behaviour is the same. Anyway here info below.
Thanks
