Installed software:

Eversion is bugged - it behaves randomly after attempt to make window full-screen using window button, and ends up crashing compiz. In-game fullscreen works.
Disabling OpenGL solves this problem.

I can confirm this. When using a gamepad it can block input as well forcing a hard reboot.
