And I think they are more numerous.
But making an option couldn't hurt.

I'm sure this will be modified before the final release. How does the Mac client show its "Update News"? (I don't own a Mac so I have no idea).

Maybe put in config 3 checkboxes like:
- Show Updates for Windows games
- Show Updates for Linux games
- Show Updates for MAC games
