Order of the New Releases
I aways see the Linux Store to see the "new releases", and today I saw "Crusader Kings II: The Republic". But when I clicked on game I saw "Requires the base game Crusader Kings II on Steam". But I never saw this game before on "Linux". So I go back to "new releases" to search the game and I discovered the game release is "14 Feb 2012".

My point is: The game was released to LINUX this week and not one year ago. So I belive the right is show on top the new releases for Linux and not for Windows (general). Without that I can "loose" some news games for Linux.

I think it is right to put the original release date. I recently purchased a multiplayer-only shooter which is dying of age, just because I did not realise it was so old. Your idea would add to the confusion.

But I cant see the new games on "New releases". They can keep the "original release" on page, but the order of "New releases" on "Linux tab" should be the "new releases for linux" and not general.

I don't care about Windows release dates. If game was released for Windows on February 2012 and for Linux on January 2013, for me it's 2013 game.
