All in one Orange Box
With Steam diving into Ubuntu Linux, I've started thinking about a next gen. console. With that in mind, I started thinking about the big picture and how consoles can't be upgraded and the user rights a horrible. So I decided to build my "all in one orange box." This box will be for the future of my living room. It will have STEAM's "BIG Picture" in mind as well as Ubuntu TV, "TV for humans." These two overlays will bring new life into my media set up. No need to have a media player a PS3 and what ever else one could want. Bamm here is the wish list.

BitFenix Prodigy BFC-PRO-300-OOXKO-RP Atomic Orange Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case

ASRock FM2A75M-ITX FM2 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX AMD Motherboard

AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic AMD Radeon HD 7660D AD580KWOHJBOX

Seagate Momentus XT ST750LX003 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache 2.5" SATA 6.0Gb/s Solid State Hybrid Drive -Bare Drive

ASUS Black 12X BD-ROM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM SATA Internal Blu-ray Drive Model BC-12B1ST/BLK/B/AS - OEM

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL8D-8GBXM

There you have it. What I need just for my TV. It'll do everything I need and more. From homework to playing a game to stream a movie or playing a blu-ray. All this at a cost that my current system would be "jelly" over. ps my current pc is a mad machine and will throw down against the best.

ON ANOTHER NOTE AMD NEEDS TO GET ME SOME B.A DRIVERS FOR UBUNTU 12.10 SO MY UNITY DOESN'T CRASH AND I CAN USE MY CURRENT SYSTEM, WHICH IS WAY TO BIG TO BE NEXT TO MY TV. LET"S GO AMD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
