Issue Report: Choosing to start Steam with Big Picture
Choosing to start Steam in Big Picture mode broke Steam. I removed the package with the software centre and deleted .steam from my Home directory, then reinstalled the .deb and it launched again.

Update: Turns out it broke Big Picture mode completely. Had to delete Steam directory in .local/share, and reinstalling as I write this.
