Issue Report: Adding a game starts install process whether or not game is supported on platform
I just bought a copy of Hotline Miami through Amazon and registered the code provided on Steam through the Linux client because I am far too lazy to reboot into Windows. It added successfully and popped up a dialog stating it was going to install it. I thought that it'd happened to have a Linux port and was smart enough to install the correct version, but my joy was replaced by disappointment when I realized it was just a bug. :(

Minor issue but figured I'd go through the trouble of reporting.

Oh, I just noticed the same thing when I registered one of my previously unregistered HIB codes and it went to install three games from it, Aquaria and Dungeons of Dredmor (both supported) and Crayon Physics Deluxe (also supported on Linux but not in the beta). It offered to install all three, so I let it, but the client apparently tried to do them in alphabetical order. Aquaria started installing fine, CPD fell over with an error and it never attempted to install Dredmor. I went back to my library and successfully installed Dredmor afterward with no trouble.

So, yeah, minor issue, but still worth reporting.

Similar issue i noticed today: I got my beta confirmation, installed the client (no problem whatsoever) and it showed 4 or 5 games from my library including LIMBO. It also claims to install (though in record time of about a split second), but you can't run the game. As it turns out LIMBO is not linux-compatible yet!
Maybe an issue to look into when marking games for compatibility... i don't know who decides, whether the dev just checks "linux" no matter what or steam also doublechecks...
P.S.: i hope you're getting my meaning, haven't pracised "speaking" english in a while...
