How to get it to work on a macbook.
Yeah I know I'm a dumbass for trying to play steam for Linux on a mac, but using Linux works to get around the admin block on this piece of ♥♥♥♥ (this is a school laptop don't worry i have a PC desktop). So i know how to get the file, but that's as far as i get, how do i use a file manager and which (free) one should I get? Thanks.

Are you sure you should be in the limited Beta if you have to ask how to use a file manager and obviously can't even install steam?

Hi,

Instructions for installing Steam on Ubuntu are the same, regardless of the hardware you are running Linux on.

They can be found in the 'Getting started' thread on the forums.
