Dual/multi screen/monitor mouse problems
Steam ("big picture" and TF2) aren't locking the mouse to the screen I'm running the games on, which makes it hard to turn right (the side my second screen is on). When I go to the right edge of the left screen, the pointer ends up on the left edge of the right screen instead of staying on the left screen. I'm running separate X screens, not spanning the desktop across the monitors. Twinview and Xinerama are both disabled on an Nvidia 9500, driver version 310.19, xorg-server version 1.13.0 -- I can post my xorg.conf if needed.

Also, the cursor is always visible, even during the Valve logo screen. Sometimes with the usual cursor appearance, sometimes with Steam's left handed cursor. I'm not sure if this is related to the first problem or not.

Xorg is a dissaster as you want to use 2 or more screens.
It is not only with Steam.
You can't use Twinview because that is an option that you can try.
Xinemera is not an option as you want to use your desktop to run normal.

I changed my Xorg.conf to make it work because Xorg can't handle more screens on a good way. I use 3 screesn and 2 Nvidia GTX560 ti 2.

You're right that it's not just Steam. This also happened in Steam (and other games) under WINE until recently... maybe sometime this summer. I never had this problem in the native ut2004 (also SDL). *shrug*

Okay, nevermind. I can't seem to replicate my own problem.

I have a similar setup... a 1080p monitor as a primary X screen, and two smaller monitors in twinview as a second X screen. The only way I can run TF2 is by launching with -windowed -noborder -w 1920 -h 1080. However, if your second X screen is lower resolution than the first, you will be limited to the lower resolution, even if you run the game on the larger screen. Since my second X screen is 3360x1050, I can only run TF2 at 1920x1050 in windowed mode. But big picture mode works fine fullscreen.
