Issue Report: Team Fortress 2 freezing when playing online multiplayer
I've been able to play through all the tutorials and some several games with training bots. I've tried to play 3-4 times online and within 1-2 minutes I get a frozen screen, audio looping. The screen may jerk around a few times. I thought one time I was able to alt-tab out of TF2, and then back into it, but most of the time I just remote into my Linux system from my phone and sudo kill -9 MainThrd to recover.

The loading performance seems pretty slow (I've seen other people report that too). Graphical and in game performance has been great though as long as I'm not online.

What is your network setup (wireless, wired) and how is your download performance (e.g. any problems with downloading TF2)?
I've added this information to our bug database.

Wired connection. Speedtest.net has me at 25ms ping, 10.96 Mb/s download, 1.12 Mb/s uploaad. Installs from Valve seem fine.

I pick the games by sorting for ping time, then pick server with 10-20 people

Most of the stuff it downloads for the map comes down pretty quick. It sometimes takes a while on some of the files, I just assumed they must be larger files part of the map.
