Issue Report: Team Fortress 2
Failed to create OpenGL device!
Error 0xFFFFFFFF.

Fresh install of Ubuntu 12.10 then install amd fglrx-updates package and try to run team fortress 2.

Any sort of fix? I know the Catalyst 12.11 beta8 drivers work, but that isn't very convienient for users.

You would have to talk with the AMD folks. We don't develop their drivers. They will be opening up a public forum soon for AMD issues with the Steam client.

Sorry, I haven't heard anything from them about focused support. Maybe you could post this request in their existing forums? Part of our purpose in doing this was to show the need for more focus on Linux graphics drivers from the card vendors.
