Unable to download some games on a 64bit system
Hi, I'm unable to download some games on a 64bit system (I know that this beta is for 32bit systems, but I'm trying steam on different systems). Are these games not supported on a 64bit system?
The games are: Braid, DEFCON, Limbo, Multiwinia, Psyconauths, Splice and VVVVVV.

When I try to download one of these games the installing window doesn't report the size of the installation. If I try press next the game appears immediately as installed (0 byte downloaded) but if I try to launch it I get an obvious error (there are no executables after all).

Here two screenshots for VVVVVV:

ps: sorry for my poor english

It can be, but why some incompatible games appears under "LINUX GAMES" (into the steam client)? If a game is not compatible it should be removed from that list...

SpaceChem is on the game list. I can download and install but when I try to run it, nothing happens. I am on 64bit Xubuntu 12.10.

Might be a different issue, since the above mentioned apps are all unlisted and Steam does actually lob an error message at you.

Maybe you're having this issue:

Yes there are multiple games that don't have a linux binary but can still be downloaded. It will simply pull the Windows Version. Alien Swarm does that too. Has to do with the flags set in the Steam Database.

I can confirm that if I try to install a game in this list it downloads nothing at all, and they obviously fail to open. I'm also using a 64-bit system.

Here is a support article on the list of supported games for the beta.
We're working on a fix for the issue on our end (the Store database).

On the list of supported games for the beta is Trine 2 but i can't download the demo. A window with a message appears which tells me that the game isn't available on my platform. Is this a bug?

I imagine there just isn't a Linux executable available for the demo of Trine 2.
