TF2 starts in small window and can't click on menu items
When I launch TF2 it will launch in a 640x480 window where the menu items are not selectable by my mouse unless the cursor is far below the button.

Running -w1024 does not increase the resolution but -novid works so I know it's reading the launch parameters

I can't click options in-game to try to manually set the resolution in game

Add '-windowed -noborder -w1024' to your options. ;)

I'm also having this issue. The only way I can solve it is to use:

wmctrl -r 'Team Fortress 2 - OpenGL' -e 0,0,0,1920,1080

I've tried both fullscreen and -windowed -noborder -w 1920 -h 1080 with no luck
