Steam fails to start using the open Radeon drivers (Sapphire 6950 2Gb dirt3 ed)
I was just trying to test Killing Floor with the Radeon drivers rather than the Catalyst ones I usually use and Steam wouldn't start (I did discover that it will start with Vesa however).

I don't know how much this is a bug with the Steam client and how much is the Radeon driver, my guess would be that it's largely a radeon issue as the drivers with my card (Sapphire 6950 2GB dirt3 ed.) are garbage.

Here's what steam outputs:

My mistake! I've just spotted a fairly big typo! steam steam://steam rather than store!

It's a bit weird that it just doesn't load a page if you mistype the url (is it a url?) but it was my error rather than the drivers.
