i love how they say "Linux is an important platform for Valve and we want as many game supporting it as possible."
and not "Ubuntu is an important platform for Valve and we want as many game supporting it as possible."

Its very nice of them to put in the effort for a Linux release.

Although aside from the gesture I'm not sure it will amount to much as the game in its current form simply cannot retain an active playerbase. No players = No game.

The developers seem cool though. Shocked when I saw they released patches to fix bugs and add features even though the servers were usually empty. Most developers would have simply abandoned development and left their existing customers to rot.

Worth buying a copy after they port it if you like to support Indie developers and/or Linux gaming. Just don't be shocked if you don't see many players
