Valve should make free weekends on Linux too

I never seen any free weekend on Linux (pardon me if it happened already), but we should get them too, there are a lot of games I'd like to buy that don't have Demo's to download, not to mention it would stimulate the sells to!

its not based on the os, but the games themselves, i.e. when killing floor has a freeweekend, it applies to all os's not just windoze

I'd +1 that, though I guess that’s mostly the developer’s and publisher’s decision to do it or not. Valve however could do a great multiplayer free weekend when CS:GO and L4D2 are stable for Linux.

Oh that's right OP: Valve should have Linux Weekends where we all drop Windows for Linux for a few days. That will instantly make Linux the dominant OS no doubt. :-P

That was never my point. I wish more cross-platform games were in the free weekends so that we could decide more on weather that's a good choice of not.

Let's keep on focus here. Cross platform games on the FW's should be nice.
