There are two things to keep in mind. First, the Piston isn't Valve's console. It is Xi3's machine which might be running steam on big-picture mode. Hence, as a result, we don't know if it is running linux or not since Gabe said people can install Windows on Steam Boxes if they like.

Edit button broken? It appears in the upper right corner of every post you make.

What is that rank judging exactly? If it's anything besides hype, marketing, and how easy the game is, then Call of Duty doesn't deserve it.

Also, why would they be interested in moving over to a market of people (linux users) who generally don't pay for overpriced merchandise?

Mostly budget, but it's a common enough term to not be a prude about it. And don't try to talk for Linux users. Linux users do what they want. I happen to have the latest CoD on my Wii U and I think it's a perfectly fun experience. It's hardly a desert island game and for MP I'll gladly take CSwhatever or TF2, but I enjoyed my romp through the SP and MP experience.

I thought it was about sales count/hype in the first place?

Personally I like the Zombies mode in Treyarch's CoD. Though have little time for anything anymore xD
I don't think that they are still able to make CoD games, th engine would be really easy to port tho

How do you know they won't pay for it, tons of people do it already and there are quite some linux users with money. The Humble Bundle pretty much shows this.
I keep reading "Infinity Wart". . .
linux users? yopu should say you wont pay...
