Alright so first I would like to say, I'm new with linux. I dicided to download steam but sadly i get an error message. I have tried reinstalling and restarting. Here is the error:

Steam needs to install these additional packages:
libgl1-mesa-dri:i386, libgl1-mesa-glx:i386, libc6:i386
[sudo] password for karmajuney:

It will not let me type at all in the box that apears. Help would be appreciated

I have the same problem where I can't type in the opened Terminal. Don't know what the issue is.

Open a terminal yourself and type:
`sudo apt-get install libgl1-mesa-dri:i386 libgl1-mesa-glx:i386 libc6:i386`

Thank you for the quick reply! I typed it in and it asks for my password but then refuses to let me type it in...

No matter what i type, it blocks me from typing and asks for the password
That's how linux hides your password
just make sure you type it in right, don't worry you're typing in something. Like I said it doesn't show it.
