Installing a game to another directory
Hello!
Why can I install cs and HL to another steam directory, but cannot install CS:S and TF2?

I believe it's the storage format of those titles. They will probably be converted in the future.

Currently Counter-Strike: Source, TF2 and other Valve games do not support this feature. We hope to have it converted in the future.

Thanks Derrick, I would definitely appreciate that! And as this is both a Linux and WIndows issue, I think there are a lot of players out there looking for this feature for these games.

OK, thanks. I was misconfused becouse CS1.6 and HL1 do support this feature.
