Big Picture Mode Segfaults

I get the following error when I try to open Big Picture Mode:

Hi, Im also using an AMD card and get the same segmentation faults with big picture mode. Had an issue opened in Github and got a reply from valve that the problem is with the video card drivers (specially 13.1 and 13.2 versions), so we will have to wait until we get an update.

I actually had the last beta drivers installed from Ubuntu's repo (fglrx-9-experiamental) and I had the same issue.

Steam segfaults in the same place when using nouveau drivers.

Please people pay attention: There is a duplication of threads about this issue.

Nonetheless, I also have the same problem which is related to the graphic drivers I think.

Please link to the actual post not the discussion forums its self, this does not help.
