You should never install with the installer, if you are running 64bit Debian/Ubuntu.
in Terminal: sudo sh -c 'echo "/usr/lib32\n/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/mesa\n" >> /etc/ld.so.conf.d/steam.conf' && sudo ldconfig
I also get this now:
What can i do?
installing drivers manualy isnt recommened
just install it from the distro repositoy and see what happens, but frist you will need to uninstall the drivers you installed manualy, wich also is a pain.
Installing drivers manualy is never a good idea they even recommend that you use the drivers from the distro themselfs.
Heres a quote from nvidia:
"Note that many Linux distributions provide their own packages of the NVIDIA Linux Graphics Driver in the distribution's native package management format. This may interact better with the rest of your distribution's framework, and you may want to use this rather than NVIDIA's official package."
Nor i have problems now with other 3d programs. Just steam. -.-
Let's try these repos then...
