Issue Report: Could not find required OpenGL entry point 'glGetError'
Could not find required OpenGL entry point 'glGetError'| Either your video card is unsupported, or your OpenGL driver needs to be updated. Get this error when trying to play Counter Strike Source.

Details please. OS, video card, driver version number, etc.

OS - Ubuntu 12.10
Video Card - Intel® G33 x86/MMX/SSE2
Driver Version Number -- I don't know how to find

"Help/System Information" will show system info.

OP, I'm not going to be much help here. I don't have any rigs with Intel graphics. Other folks here might be able to help.

If your Card only supports OpenGL 2.1 it is simply to old and will not be able to run Source Games that require at least OpenGL 3.

Considering that G33 is Intel integrated graphics from 2007 you might be out of luck.
Even Sandy Bridge iGPU isn't that good actually and the drivers are a bit of a gamble.

Just reading some of Intel stories at opengl.org was pretty depressing. Lots of confusion and rage about lack of support for this feature or that feature.

Might be time for someone to buy a dedicated video card...or a laptop with one.
