Confirmation on steam crashing, when switch to bp mode

openSUSE 12.2 bit 64 bit
amd hd 5750
amd phenom II x4

I can't post in limit beta section. just wanted to confirm this.
It was quite funny, I was reading that topic, and tried.
Then steam crashed.
I have only one monitor but, but had no problems before when swwitching to bp mode.

Yep, same for me. If I click BP Steam just disappears.

Also, try running like this and see if it works:
STEAM_RUNTIME=0 steam

If that works, try removing these files and see if it works:
rm -v ~/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam-runtime/i386/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libglapi.so.0
rm -v ~/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam-runtime/i386/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libdrm.so.2
STEAM_RUNTIME=1 steam
