A link to a website that doesn't even have a link to the drivers?

Their forum has a direct link to download the driver. I tried to search for release notes, didn't find.

So, anyone tried it? The release notes say it has a big speed bump on TF2 and some Serious Sam 3 fixes.

About to try it myself.

I did a quick test. 300%? If it was 300% faster then it would make my graphics card the fastest in the world by a long margin so I'm not sure what the guy who wrote those notes was smoking.

It still lags when you fall in the water on 2fort. Other than that performance seemed similar to the beta11 drivers, mostly there but with lags that mar the experience.

Most of the servers I usually play on are empty at the mo though so I'll probably test it some more tomorrow on more maps.

I tried a bot game as well on badlands and lakeside, that was playable (although that has been playable for some time)

Perhaps it fixes some things. Perhaps what's left is down to Valve. Who can tell?

I did a quick test with killing floor and that's still slow (although it's not clear whether that's just the port or not - again who can tell?)

Well still unplayable with AA on, but with aa off it never dipped under 80 fps. got up to 200+ fps with the new drivers.

Untill my screen went white and i couldn't see anything.

Can't get Serious Sam 3 to run after I installed this driver. I get a segmentation fault :(

For those who are testing this with Team Fortress 2, could you mentioned what graphics processing unit you are using?

Actually the release note says that it's UP TO 300%. (And that cannot be gurantee...)

Graphical glitches on some payload maps in TF2, like huge artifacts and no textures. Not sure if it's beta's fault but the maps have been fine in the past.

I also couldn't notice a performance boost.

Only for the 6xxx and 7xxx series, sadly.

No performance increase here with my Radeon 6850. 200-300 FPS with HDR and AA off still with some occasional micro stuttering here and there. With HDR on I get about 120 FPS, which is better than before the beta drivers but I don't really care much about since it's HDR...

TF2 is finally playable on high details with the new drivers. No more input lag (the raw input option might have helped that) or stuttering! I have an HD 7870.

That release note is a farce. UP TO or not. If I said the population of Finland was UP TO 6 billion, I'd be an idiot.

If I were cynical I'd suggest it's because they know a plethora of people who report on driver releases (but who have never played a game in their life, least of all TF2) will happily cut and paste that into a story for them - without testing the claim at all.

Since I'm not cynical (honest) I'll put it down to buffoonery.

Worst thing is that the game is still reasonably unplayable. That's the bottom line, had I fired TF2 up on linux after installing 13.2 beta 3 and the game had worked well I wouldn't have really cared about the silly claim in the driver notes. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience.

So what are the bets. Another month? 2 months? And it seems like they worked on 2 games in the time they had. I actually want to play TF2, but not everyone does, what do they do?
