[Solved] Savegames in the cloud lost because auf Steam update?
The recent update today causes trouble here.

1 - At first I was able to launch a game (Space Pirates and Zombies). A window popped up - telling me that the Steam cloud could not be reached.
2 - After closing Steam a install script ran and restartet Steam.
3 - The same problem occured.
4 - I opened and closed Steam several times - sometimes it immediately ran the script afterwards and restarted itself.
5 - I restarted Xorg
6 - The game refused to work
7 - I opened Steam under Wine and installed SPaZ
8 - The game only offered to begin a new game.
9 - Trying to start SPaZ under native Linux still does not work - The console Output says "Game removed: AppID 107200 "Space Pirates and Zombies""

Sorry, I didn't know about losing the breaks in this post :(

I had a similar problem (although, I didn't have anything stored in the cloud). Restarting steam seems to have applied the update again, and my games will now start correctly.

Oh, great! After a
apt-get upgrade
and a restart of X everything seems to be back to normal! :o) YaY!
