Steam for Linux

Steam for Linux

Linux + non linux games in bundles.
I bought the trine bundle during the sale and was surprised to see that trine 1 didn't show up in my games list on linux... Looks like trine 2 is the only supported linux game in the bundle, which was disappointing.

I think steam should make the platform support of the games clearer -- especially while making purchases from inside the client.

I would assume that will be taken care of when/before the Linux client leaves beta.
It is in beta because it's not fully usable yet, and that's one of the reasons.
Trine (1) will probably be made available for Linux on Steam eventually, since it was in a Humble Bundle and already has a working Linux client, if that's of any comfort.
It's largely up to the developer to get their Steam client to Valve so that it can be integrated into the Steam system correctly.
No big deal in my case... but I'm just saying: with the multi-platform support, Valve should warn you if you're making a purchase that they know won't work on your computer.
Trine has linux port which you were able to get via fronzen humble bundle.
