Steam Skins not showing up under interface skin list
I've tried installing several skins for my steam and put them in the correct folder, they are all the correct version too. I saw a post saying I have to enter something like this... "$ cd ~/.steam/root/ && ln -s skins/noframe ./" but where do I enter that? There's nothing in the list except for <default> can someone please help me!?

If that is really what you are supposed to type (paste) then you would do it in a terminal.

Terminal in Linux is a program where you can enter command lines to perform a variety of tasks. Google "Linux Terminal".

As for the problem stated in your OP, can't help you there.
