openSUSE/NVIDIA users
I tested Steam on open suse, works great. Driver installation is very easy and no problems at all.

Can you confirm that the package bellow is safe to install? (Safe = no harm, no malware, no keyloggers)

Please be aware that the following packages are from unofficial repositories. That means they are not reviewed by openSUSE and may contain unstable or experimental software.

If so, I already have a simple guide, to help openSUSE users to install and play with Steam.

That's the site I installed mine from. You will still have to enter your root password to install the software, same as you have to do every time you load up YaST.

Maybe you didn't get it. I myself made a tutorial on how install Steam and the drivers. But I wont't spend too much time publishing it if nobody is having problems.

If you wanted to put one together, I'd read it. I think I have a pretty good handle on what is going on, but it's always nice to verify

Well, it's an old thread. I'm not on openSUSE anymore.
