Wine and Steam Linux beta
Is there any way to install windows games from the linux version of steam.I was on linux to just test the steam version(when the whole thing started) and the only option was to install linux only games which is ♥♥♥♥ty cuz if i want to play games which run perfectly on wine like half life 2 i will have to start the windows version of steam with wine and logout from the linux version.I ask this cuz i am tired of the ♥♥♥♥ty windows and really want to get into linux but there are games like awesomenauts which i play regularly and it's pain to boot up win or start the win version of steam every time i want to play.So it will be cool if there is any trick that can be used.

Just run Steam under wine and install and play it from there. I play DOTA 2 this way. Works flawless.

please stop with these issues, the idea of starting a steam for linux is that is native, if they both run Windows applications, so that better install windows 7 or 8

sweet jesus christ, how many more new threads do we have to see on this issue? DO A SEARCH AND FIND ONE OF THE COUNTLESS WINE THREADS AND POST THERE.
