Moving the steam library folder to other drives/partitions?
I have very little space on my current linux partition (2/30 GB available, please don't knock me for using a small partition) and I'm trying to have it install to another partition or drive, but whenever I go into settings>downloads+cloud>steam library folders it only gives me the option of creating another library folder on the current partition and nowhere else. How do I select a different drive to install in? Would a symlink work? How do you set those up?

I put my steam folder in another partition and created a link in my home folder.
So basically it is:
/home/luan/Steam -> /media/storage/Steam
Works just fine.

When i symlinked the Steam folder to /host (the windows partition) and went to steam library folders i saw that i have 322 GB free space in the default folder. But when i try to install TF2 it still complains about that i have not enough disk space.

My both partitions are ext4, maybe Steam for linux doesn't work well with Windows partitions... I have no clue...

I moved my Steam folder from /home/chace/.local/share/Steam on my SSD to my ntfs storage HDD and then created a link to steam in /home/chace/.local/share/.
