100000% agreed. I used to only buy big-name games, but after going 100% Linux gaming I've found that indy games have just as much, and sometimes more, quality than big company games, and I feel like the money I'm giving has a bigger cut going directly to the creator instead of some nameless shareholder. Plus they're often much cheaper.
I reiterate my statement on another post that we should have a separate forum just for people asking these two questions: 1) "When do we get L4D2?" and 2) "Where is my tray icon?"
That page keeps track of games in the steam database that are tagged with linux support. That means they are either available for linux, being tested for linux, or being planned for linux. It's good to see what might be coming up soon.
A little more hopeful and long term is this page: http://steamlinux.flibitijibibo.com/index.php?title=Native_Games That one lists games on steam that also have native linux clients out there somewhere, so it's not impossible that they might one day get their linux version added to steam
Nice!
