Alternative Fedora RPM package
Looks like the package thats always linked to, http://spot.fedorapeople.org/ has been removed. Just got it setup on my laptop and was about to install on my HTPC.

Does anyone have an alternative link for Fedora rpms?

Thanks

Thanks Olorin!
I just installed from spot's repo yesterday, but just noticed that it's gone, breaking my updates :|
Will there be an official rpm for Fedora someday?

when i downloaded the repo fram that site, im getting an error when trying to install: "Public key for steam-1.0.0.18-1.1.x86_64-2.rpm is not installed" any idea on how to fix it?

rpm -Uvh --nosignature xxxxxxx.rpm

You can use rpm from the command line to install without the key, but it is not recommended.
Also note that this is a SUSE package and not Fedora. Many times the rpms from SUSE will install correctly on Fedora, but not always.
Hopefully a Fedora package will be out soon.

yea, im also getting tons of dependency errors, cant install it. (i have the newer versions of them, but they arent being accepted, and fedora 18 wont allow me to revert, at least not any way ive seen.

I never tried the packages for Fedora from the openSUSE Build Service as I already have the one from fedorapeople installed, and I wrongly assumed they worked. Installation on Fedora Core 17 x86_64 will just give the infamous steamui.so error after the mandatory update, and he should indeed fix this. The packages are of course unsigned, and Pavol Rusnak's keys are revoked, but the content itself are the same as the signed Valve package. I do however use the KDE spin of Fedora Core 17, and Apper will just prompt for a password again here whenever a unsigned package are provided. I never wrote anything about installing SUSE packages, but if the package supported LSB like the Google Chrome ones, it would be possible to do so.
